Egale Canada Human Rights Trust is a registered not-for-profit organization that was founded in 1986. We have a long history of advocating for LGBTQI2S rights and have intervened in landmark cases before the Supreme Court of Canada. Our recent initiative, MyGSA.ca, aims to create safer and more inclusive schools for LGBTQ and allied youth and educators. We are committed to an intersectional approach, recognizing the linkages between different forms of oppression. Our goal is to improve the lives of 2SLGBTQI people in Canada and globally through policy advocacy, cultural change, and promoting human rights and inclusion.
