EducationMatters

EducationMatters is a non-profit foundation in Calgary, Alberta that aims to enhance and advance public education. We fund a wide range of programs and awards that cater to the diverse needs of students in public education. Our initiatives focus on developing leadership skills, promoting civic-mindedness, introducing innovative learning methods, supporting students with special needs, and addressing literacy, career, life skills, the arts, and mental wellness. We also encourage lifelong learning through scholarships and bursaries for post-secondary or trades training. As a public foundation, we operate independently from the Calgary Board of Education and strive for a society that values excellence in public education.
