Developing Scholars

Developing Scholars focuses on improving educational opportunities in remote areas of Guatemala. We collaborate with community leaders to identify and support various projects, including providing school teacher salaries, acquiring academic materials, and conducting training workshops. Additionally, we offer scholarships to academically qualified students from disadvantaged backgrounds and work closely with them and their families to ensure their ongoing success. To effectively manage our projects, we rely on the strong local presence of our agent, Alice Lee So Fong. Our ultimate goal is to enable indigenous individuals living in poverty to attend school, receive quality instruction, and acquire the necessary skills to enhance their lives.
