COWS is a company that started making ice cream in 1983 using an old-fashioned family recipe from Cavendish, Prince Edward Island. The demand for COWS ice cream quickly grew, making it a symbol of Prince Edward Island. Despite the company's growth, they still use the same all-natural ingredients and hand-make their waffle cones. In 1985, COWS introduced a fun clothing line for their staff, which became popular and expanded to include humorous t-shirts. COWS Creamery, located in Charlottetown, is where they produce their famous ice cream and t-shirts. Their products can be found in stores across Canada and online at www.cows.ca.
