Conseil Quebecois-Ressources

The Conseil Quebecois-Ressources (CQRHT) is an organization formed in 1995 that brings together various entities working in the tourism industry in Quebec. At the provincial level, this organization serves as the workforce sector committee for the tourism industry. The Conseil Quebecois-Ressources actively participates in various projects by collaborating with sector-specific tourism associations, partners, and regions. Some examples of ongoing projects (2010-2011) include Key Jobs, the development of two new Quebec professional standards, online learning for ski workers, a feasibility study for improving the skills of tourism managers, an HR reference framework for new cruise ship stops on the St. Lawrence River, HR management conferences, and HR mornings. The mission of this partnership forum is to contribute to the development of HR strategies that enhance the professionalism of the tourism industry and, consequently, improve the economic growth of the sector in Quebec. The organization is dedicated to advancing the tourism workforce and promoting collaboration among all stakeholders to address the HR challenges faced by the tourism industry.
