Chick Pickin' Mondays

The "Chick Pickin' Mondays" event was created almost 10 years ago by Cecile Doo Kingue and Grumpy's barman Gern F. The purpose was to showcase female talent from Montreal, Canada, and other places. The event has been highly successful, with the lineup often being scheduled months in advance and attracting a large and relaxed audience. It is a true celebration of Montreal's and the world's musical talent. Performances range from solo acts to groups, all centered around the female voice, and the intimate atmosphere creates unique and heartfelt performances. The event now has a new website: http://chickpickin.wix.com/home.
