Cheap Thrills, the first used-record store in Montreal, opened its doors in 1971 on Bishop Street. In 1984, a second branch was opened at 2044 Metcalfe. In 1995, Cheap Thrills became the first record store in Canada to sell their stock online. Unfortunately, the original location on Bishop closed in 1999. Cheap Thrills is known for its extensive collection of used CDs and vinyl, ranging from avant-jazz to rock and world music.
