Caut

The Canadian Association of University Teachers (CAUT) is a national organization that advocates for the social and economic interests of its members. It engages in lobbying efforts with governments, provides support in collective bargaining and legal matters, and actively defends academic freedom. CAUT offers various educational opportunities such as courses, workshops, and conferences, and conducts investigations into threats to academic freedom. Founded in 1951, CAUT represents over 70,000 teachers, librarians, researchers, and other academic professionals at 123 universities and colleges across Canada.
