Canbriam Energy Inc

Canbriam Energy Inc. is a private exploration and production company focused on extracting liquids-rich natural gas. The company's main assets are located in the Altares Montney region of Northeast British Columbia. Canbriam was established in 2007 and is based in Calgary, Alberta, with an additional office in Fort St. John, British Columbia. The company's Altares footprint stands out due to its thickness, reservoir pressure, original gas in place (OGIP), and liquid hydrocarbon yield, which contribute to consistent returns and sustainable growth. Canbriam owns 62,000 net acres of land, with over 300m (1,000ft) of Montney formation, and has significantly reduced the risks associated with its Altares asset to support its development plans. Within the Montney region, Canbriam has identified and tested up to six target horizons and is currently developing the Montney in three zones. The company's success is attributed to its early focus on quality differentiation, competitive supply costs, strong control over operations, and the establishment of infrastructure to facilitate large-scale development. Canbriam Energy Inc. is committed to producing clean energy for export, particularly through its collaboration with the proposed Woodfibre LNG project in British Columbia. By leveraging this resource, Canbriam aims to offset the use of higher-emission fuels overseas, contributing to Canada's economic growth and helping the world achieve its climate targets.
