Canadian Federation of Students Nova Scotia

The Canadian Federation of Students Nova Scotia is a provincial branch of the Canadian Federation of Students, which is a union representing over half a million college and university students in Canada. The Federation allows students to advocate for their rights and campaign on important issues such as reducing tuition fees, increasing funding for post-secondary education, and promoting accessibility for Aboriginal people. Members also receive free and cost-saving services, including an International Student Identity Card, discounts, and free tax filing. The Federation's founding principle is to achieve a system of post-secondary education that is accessible to all and of high quality, with recognized student representation and rights. With over 10,000 members in the Maritimes and over 530,000 members nationwide, the Canadian Federation of Students is the leading voice for accessible post-secondary education in Canada.
