The Canadian Cooperative Wildlife Health Centre - Western/Northern is a network of highly qualified individuals dedicated to wildlife health. Our cooperative consists of renowned wildlife disease experts, population health specialists, educators, and policy advisors. We aim to generate knowledge for wildlife health assessment and management, and collaborate with others to ensure this knowledge is utilized promptly. Our partnership with Canada's veterinary colleges and the British Columbia Animal Health Centre allows us to access expertise from various sectors and effectively detect and assess wildlife health issues. Our organization's goal is to apply veterinary medical sciences to wildlife conservation and management in Canada.
