Calgary Health Trust is a philanthropic organization that has raised over $395 million for health care since 1996. These funds have been used to advance technologies, programs, and services at various health care organizations in our community, including Foothills Medical Centre, Peter Lougheed Centre, Rockyview General Hospital, Women’s Health, Carewest continuing care centres, community health programs, the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Medicine, and more. In the fiscal year 2011/2012 alone, we received over $9.2 million in donations and raised more than $17.5 million through lotteries. With the support of our donors, sponsors, and volunteers, we have been able to support over 380 acute care, community health, women’s health, and continuing care programs throughout the city. Over the past 19 years, we have funded numerous innovations that have revolutionized patient-focused health care. We remain committed to working closely with Alberta Health Services and community organizations to identify priorities where philanthropic support can have the greatest impact. With the dedication of our donors and volunteers, Calgary Health Trust is able to significantly improve the lives of patients, their families, and the medical staff in our community.
