Broxburn Vegetables & Cafe is a farm located in Lethbridge, Alberta that was established in 1994 by Paul & Hilda de Jonge. Initially, the farm was intended for U-Pick operations and a small greenhouse was set up to grow peppers in 1996. As the farm expanded, a larger greenhouse was built in 2001 to grow tomatoes and other vegetables. In 2004, the cafe was opened to utilize the farm's produce, leading to sales to restaurants in the Calgary/Banff area. Today, Broxburn Vegetables & Cafe offers locally made food sourced from locally grown ingredients, with a focus on providing wholesome veggies and food. They also operate a U-Pick strawberry farm and offer fresh greenhouse vegetables, vine-ripened tomatoes, and country food sourced from local producers. The farm is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am till 4:00 pm, and closed on Sundays.
