Bissell Centre is an Edmonton-based nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating poverty and homelessness in our community. Our mission is to empower people to move from poverty to cultural, social, and economic prosperity. We offer various services including meals served twice a day, housing program services, laundry facilities, and free tax clinics. Our long-term outcomes include helping people meet their basic needs, participate in the community, have sustainable livelihoods, feel hope for the future, and improve their physical and mental health. Our vision is the complete eradication of poverty in our community.
