Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society

Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society is a non-profit charitable organization that was established in 1994 by Brad and Shauna Seneca. Initially approached by Children Services to establish a group home for Aboriginal youth, the Society has since grown and developed various programs and services to provide direction and support for Aboriginal children, youth, adults, and families. Despite the passing of Shauna Seneca in 2006, her vision and dedication continue through the staff she mentored and the impact she made. The Society offers a wide range of programs and services, including group homes, mentoring programs, foster care, family intervention, employment support, and more. Additionally, community programs such as monthly soup and bannock lunches, family nights, and awareness training are also provided. The Society is dedicated to empowering Aboriginal individuals and families to thrive spiritually, emotionally, physically, and mentally in both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities.
