Bar Henrietta

Bar Henrietta is a neighborhood bar that does not take reservations. The concept of "Barmacie" originated from the French term for the purging effect of alcohol and has evolved to mean a place where cocktails are conceived, crafted, and distributed. The name pays homage to Mariette Baldwin, the grandmother of the owner, who worked in a pharmacy in Mile-End. Bar Henrietta stands out in the neighborhood with its eclectic atmosphere, offering beverages that serve as remedies for a gloomy mood. Created by the owners of Dominion Square Tavern, Balsam Inn, and Whisky Cafe, Bar Henrietta draws inspiration from Portuguese taverns of the 1960s. It is a trendy lounge for enjoying drinks and light bites, featuring amber-hued chandeliers that add warmth to an all-white decor. With a swanky cocktail bar ambiance, Bar Henrietta offers a menu of pork meat, grilled cheese, and other light options.
