Arts Factory Society

The Arts Factory Society operates the Arts Factory, a versatile arts facility located in a renovated warehouse on Industrial Avenue. Spanning 21,000 square feet, this cultural hub offers a range of workspaces including workshops, studios, offices, and common areas. Through a unique partnership with the City of Vancouver, we are able to provide affordable spaces to the local arts community. Our facility accommodates both emerging and established artists, as well as arts organizations and professionals in the cultural sector. Our studio spaces are specifically designed to cater to professional artists working with industrial-based fabrication processes, such as sculpture, painting, fabric, wood, and ceramics. At 281 Industrial, we have cultivated a vibrant community of artists who are dedicated to fostering innovation, facilitating learning exchanges, and promoting cross-disciplinary collaboration. Our ultimate goal is for the building to serve as an incubator for artists and their practices, while facilitating connections between artists, neighborhoods, and institutions. The Arts Factory is managed by The Arts Factory Society, a non-profit organization.
