Alberta Beekeepers Commission

The Alberta Beekeepers Commission is the leading organization supporting beekeepers in Alberta. With 175 producers and over 25 billion bees, Alberta is the top honey producer in Canada, producing over 40 million pounds of pure honey annually. The Commission works with industry partners to promote innovation and growth, while also funding research to ensure the health and sustainability of the beekeeping industry. Since 1933, the Commission has been dedicated to serving the interests of Alberta beekeepers and promoting the importance of honey as a superfood.
