Access Copyright exists to make it easy for everyone to remix and share published content. We believe that good content can be further enriched when people use it interactively. For over 30 years, we have facilitated the remixing and sharing of content for educational and professional purposes, helping educators become their own anthology editors while ensuring that original creators and publishers also benefit. We are a collective voice of creators and publishers in Canada, representing thousands of Canadian and foreign works. Our customers include educational institutions, businesses, and governments who buy licenses for the copying and re-use of published works. The proceeds from licensed copying are passed along to copyright-holders, supporting the creation of new and innovative works. Our goal is to make it easy for people to use content while enabling payment back to creators and publishers, ensuring a strong Canadian culture and rewarding those who read, write, teach, and learn.
