A Quiet Place

A Quiet Place offers free ESL and Conversation classes every Monday from 4 to 6pm and every Wednesday from 6 to 8pm. The classes take place at 455 Spadina Ave, Basement. Dinner will be provided for free. In addition to the classes, A Quiet Place also organizes fun social outings and activities for students. Previous events have included Maple Syrup Tour, Blue Jays Baseball Game, Movie Night, Cherry Blossoms Picnic, Summer BBQ, Algonquin Park Day Trip, St. Jacob's Farmers Market Trip, Chinese New Year Celebration, Christmas Party, International Festival, and more. A Quiet Place aims to be a home away from home for international students, foreigners on working holiday, and visiting scholars. The staff and volunteers are friendly and helpful.
